Castle Law & Dumyat via Burnwarroch
A less common ascent of Dumyat by Burnwarroch [the gash up the front] Visit Castle Law then over the summit and descend to Jerah. Return through the new plantation. NOW is a good time to visit this area while it can still be imagined as it was. In a few years the trees will alter the experience.
[ Map OS: 58 ] Registered assistance dogs only. Not suitable for children. UPDATE 1 - walking time extended to 5 hours - ascent via Burnwarroch is STEEPer than I remembered from 10 years ago. Length still 7 miles. Ascent may be a little less than 700 m
One of the easier Munros, with superb views, but very bouldery terrain near the summit.
